I've reviewed hundreds of agency portfolios and shipped 50+ products with the team at 925Studios. The failure I see most often with dashboards is not ugly charts. It is a product team that shipped a screen full of widgets nobody opens, then hired a SaaS dashboard design agency that made the same widgets prettier. This list is built to avoid that. I've ranked ten SaaS dashboard design agencies on four things: strategic depth, data-product fluency, process transparency, and demonstrable business impact.
Last updated 30 September 2026 by Mohammad Yusuf, Lead Designer at 925Studios. 925Studios is ranked first here and I've written plainly about where we're the wrong choice. No agency paid to be listed.
The best SaaS dashboard design agencies for funded startups in 2026 are 925Studios, Eleken, Parallel, Cieden, Fuselab Creative, Qubstudio, Neuron, HTEC Momentum, MetaLab, and UXDA. Published starting budgets run from $7,000 to $250,000, so the useful way to shortlist is by stage: what your round can carry, and how much of the product will change after you sign.
TL;DR:
Most dashboard problems are decisions about what to remove. Pendo found that 80% of features in the average software product are rarely or never used, and a dashboard is where that waste is most visible.
Stage decides the shortlist more than style does. Seed teams fit studios with $7,000 to $10,000 floors, Series A teams need a design system alongside the dashboard, and $100,000+ programmes suit later-stage companies with a clear brief.
AI changes what a dashboard has to do. Natural-language questions, streaming answers and confidence states are now expected, and Gartner predicts 75% of new analytics content will use GenAI for context by 2027.
Judge an agency by its handoff, not its Dribbble shots. A KPI dictionary, chart specs, and designed empty, loading and error states are what let your engineers ship the dashboard as designed.
Quick Answer: For funded SaaS and AI startups, 925Studios ranks first as a SaaS dashboard design agency, with engagements from $7,000 and dashboards, the design system and the marketing site in one team. Eleken suits teams wanting an embedded designer from $4,599 a month, Parallel and Cieden start at $10,000, Fuselab Creative is the data-visualization specialist from $25,000, and MetaLab and UXDA serve later-stage and finance programmes from $100,000 and $250,000.
How was this list built?

I started from the dashboard and data-visualization agencies that AI search engines already recommend for this query, then checked each one's Clutch profile and its own site for founding year, team size, minimum project, hourly band, and named clients. I kept only agencies with at least one dashboard, analytics or data-heavy product I could verify, such as a case study or a dedicated dashboard service page. Agencies with no public budget floor and no verifiable dashboard work were cut, as were staffing marketplaces. Where a figure is not public, the table says "Not disclosed." 925Studios is ranked first, and no agency paid for placement.

What does a SaaS dashboard design agency actually do?

A SaaS dashboard design agency decides what a dashboard should show, for whom, and in what order, then designs the charts, filters, states and components that let engineers build it. Most of the value sits in the first half of that sentence. Pendo's feature adoption research found that 80% of features in the average software product are rarely or never used, and that 12% of features generate 80% of daily usage (Pendo, 2019). BARC's study of 214 companies put active use of BI and analytics tools at 25% of employees on average, with little growth in seven years (BARC and Eckerson Group, 2022). Those numbers describe the typical dashboard: plenty of data, little use. A good agency starts by interviewing the people who are supposed to act on the numbers, writes down the handful of decisions each role makes, and designs around those decisions. Ask any shortlisted studio what they would take off your current dashboard.
Practitioners describe the failure bluntly. In a Hacker News thread on building user-facing analytics, one analytics founder wrote that "most companies out there think that the solution is to just build a bunch of dashboards, foreseeing what everyone will ask in the future. And then nobody checks the dashboards." Another commenter put it this way: "Too many systems have too much data for too many customer categories and end up being useless to everybody."
At 925Studios, the dashboards that land well almost always come from one question asked early: what should this person do differently after looking at the screen? If nobody can answer it for a chart, the chart goes. Our guide to designing dashboards covers that process for teams working in-house, and our SaaS dashboard design examples show where the best products draw the line.

Which 10 agencies design the best SaaS dashboards in 2026?
1. 925Studios
925Studios is a product design studio for funded AI and B2B SaaS teams, named Best AI SaaS & Web3 UI/UX Design Studio at The SaaS-ies 2026 by Acquisition International. It ranks first for dashboards because it designs the dashboard, the design system underneath it and the marketing site that sells it in one team, so the charts a prospect sees on the homepage match the ones a customer logs into. For MARA, a hospitality SaaS scaleup at $2M ARR across 1,500 hotels, the studio designs AI-assisted review and reporting workflows and the dashboards hotel teams use daily. For Offa, it designed an AI marketplace that matches close to 10,000 registered buyers against more than 500,000 wholesale properties. The operating model is the other difference: pricing on active requests rather than a block of hours, a Loom walkthrough every 24 to 48 hours, and work inside the Linear, Slack and Figma setup you already run. Its web3 clients include Solana and Jupiter, where on-chain data has to read as clearly as a bank statement.
Specializes in: SaaS product UI, analytics and AI dashboards, design systems, and marketing sites.
Best for: Seed to Series B SaaS and AI teams whose core product is a dashboard, or who are adding AI answers to one.
Starting budget: 925Studios engagements start at $7,000. Retainers and fixed-scope projects are both quoted against scope.
Notable clients: MARA, Offa, Solana, Jupiter, Cerebria.
Watch for: 925Studios designs and hands over build-ready files and a design system, but does not take on full product front-end engineering, so you need your own developers. It is also the wrong choice for enterprise design consulting or a Series C programme that needs a ten-person embedded team.
2. Eleken
Eleken is a SaaS-only UI/UX agency founded in 2015, with 50 to 249 people and a dedicated-designer model: a designer joins your team and works in your sprints. Its pricing is public and current: $4,599 a month for a part-time designer, $6,599 for full-time, and $11,999 for two full-time designers, each with a two-month minimum and a three-day trial. The dashboard work is real. Eleken redesigned the dashboard template builder for ClearPoint Strategy and designed the chart system for Datawisp, a no-code data analysis platform that raised a $3.6M seed round afterwards. For a side-by-side view, see our Eleken alternatives breakdown.
Specializes in: SaaS product UI/UX through embedded designers.
Best for: SaaS teams with in-house engineers and a product manager who need steady dashboard design capacity.
Starting budget: $4,599 per month, with a two-month minimum.
Notable clients: ClearPoint Strategy, Datawisp, Plecto, TextMagic.
Watch for: Eleken lists design only, with no build service, and the low hourly band reflects a staffing model. You provide the product direction.
3. Parallel
Parallel is a product and brand design studio founded in 2014, with offices in Austin and Bengaluru and 50 to 249 people, focused on AI-native and B2B products. Its most relevant dashboard work is Equifax Credit Insights, where it moved benchmarking from Excel spreadsheets into custom dashboards. In testing, 80% of participants said the summary and key indicators were a reason to come back to the platform. Parallel says engagements typically begin at $10,000. Read its Equifax case study for the process.
Specializes in: AI product design, UX research, and data-heavy B2B interfaces.
Best for: Seed to Series A AI and fintech teams that want research to lead the dashboard redesign.
Starting budget: $10,000+, with hourly rates of $50 to $99.
Notable clients: Equifax, Meta, Sarvam AI, Payoneer.
Watch for: Parallel delivers flows, screens, prototypes and design systems for your engineers to ship, so budget for the build separately.
4. Cieden
Cieden is a UX/UI agency founded in 2016 with 10 to 49 people, offices in Lviv, Warsaw and Wilmington, and a dedicated dashboard design service. Its work includes the BlizzCat asset system for Blizzard, a healthcare data app MVP for United Healthcare, and an AI data-management tool whose dashboard builder turns plain-language requests into charts, designed in six weeks by one designer. Clutch lists a $10,000 minimum and $50 to $99 an hour, with most of its work in medical and financial services.
Specializes in: Dashboard design, B2B product UX, and AI data tools.
Best for: Healthcare and fintech SaaS teams that want a dashboard specialist at a mid-range rate.
Starting budget: $10,000+, with hourly rates of $50 to $99.
Notable clients: Apollo.io, Blizzard, United Healthcare.
Watch for: Cieden's dashboard page says full engagements typically run three months or more, so it is not the pick for a two-week sprint.
A dashboard is a list of decisions dressed as charts. If you can't name the decision a chart supports, you don't have a design problem yet. You have a scoping problem, and no agency can draw its way out of that.

5. Fuselab Creative
Fuselab Creative is a data-visualization agency founded in 2017 and based in the Washington, D.C. area, with 10 to 49 people. It is the deepest pure data-viz specialist on this list: its data visualization service page names NASA, Uber, Fiserv, NIH and the California Department of Health Care Services, and it builds in Tableau, Power BI, D3.js and Recharts as well as designing. For Fiserv it designed the Small Business Index with interactive data modules, GIS mapping and monthly data updates, and a COVID-19 tracker it built handles more than 70 million rows.
Specializes in: Data visualization, complex dashboards, and dashboard development.
Best for: Series A and later teams with large, public-facing datasets or government and healthcare buyers.
Starting budget: $25,000+, with hourly rates of $100 to $149.
Notable clients: NASA, Fiserv, Uber, NIH.
Watch for: The portfolio leans government and enterprise, and Clutch reviewers mention slow coordination in early exploration before the project settled.
6. Qubstudio
Qubstudio is a UX/UI agency founded in 2006 in Lviv, with a London office and 50 to 249 people, and 40% of its Clutch-listed work in financial services. Its standout dashboard project is Deaglo, an enterprise FX risk-management platform for financial institutions with more than 75 features and a design system of 700+ components. It also runs a logistics practice, built around bringing hierarchy to dashboards that "show everything at once." See Qubstudio's Deaglo case for its approach to dense financial data.
Specializes in: Fintech and risk dashboards, logistics interfaces, and large design systems.
Best for: Fintech and logistics SaaS teams with dense, rules-heavy data.
Starting budget: $10,000+, with hourly rates of $50 to $99.
Notable clients: Deaglo, Oracle, Gulf Bank, Scoutbee.
Watch for: Some projects in its logistics portfolio are brand and website work rather than dashboards, so ask for product case studies specifically.
7. Neuron
Neuron is a San Francisco UX agency founded in 2016 with 10 to 49 people, working mainly with enterprise and B2B software companies. Its enterprise practice describes turning raw data into dashboards and reporting tools, and its client list includes Palo Alto Networks, Vendr, Paycom, AcuityMD and Uniphore. Clutch lists a $25,000 minimum and $150 to $199 an hour.
Specializes in: Enterprise UX, data visualization, and DesignOps.
Best for: Series B and later B2B software companies with complex, multi-role dashboards.
Starting budget: $25,000+, with hourly rates of $150 to $199.
Notable clients: Palo Alto Networks, Vendr, Paycom, Uniphore.
Watch for: Clutch lists Neuron as 100% design, so confirm who builds the front end before you compare quotes.
8. HTEC Momentum
HTEC Momentum, formerly Momentum Design Lab, is a Palo Alto product design studio founded in 2002 and acquired by the engineering firm HTEC in 2021. The design team is 10 to 49 people with offices in Palo Alto, London and Belgrade, and its client logos include Wells Fargo, Nasdaq, Mastercard and Salesforce. For Technomic, a food-industry research firm, it used custom data visualization to make insights readable, and its Sifted and Coalfire projects cover supply-chain intelligence and compliance data. See the Technomic case study.
Specializes in: Enterprise UX, data visualization, and AI consulting.
Best for: Later-stage and enterprise teams that may want engineering from the same group.
Starting budget: $25,000+, with hourly rates of $150 to $199.
Notable clients: Technomic, Sifted, Coalfire, Wells Fargo.
Watch for: As part of a 1,000+ person engineering consultancy, it leans enterprise, and seed-stage teams will find the rate band heavy.
9. MetaLab
MetaLab is the Vancouver product studio founded in 2006 behind Slack's earliest interface, Coinbase's first consumer app, and the original Midjourney interface. Its data-product work includes a rapid redesign of Addepar, the wealth data and analytics platform, and reimagined dashboards for a family safety app. It lists a $100,000+ minimum and also builds software, which is part of why the floor is high. Our MetaLab alternatives list covers the studios founders compare it with.
Specializes in: Product design, software development, and brand for category-leading products.
Best for: Series B+ companies that want a large team to design and build a flagship data product.
Starting budget: $100,000+, hourly rate not disclosed.
Notable clients: Addepar, Slack, Coinbase, Midjourney.
Watch for: MetaLab has no dedicated dashboard or data-viz practice, and the minimum is a large share of a seed or Series A round.
10. UXDA
UXDA is a financial UX agency founded in 2015 in Riga, with offices in New York and London, that works only on banking, fintech and wealth products. It says it has designed 150+ financial systems for 80+ institutions, including HSBC, Emirates NBD, GCash and Backbase, and it redesigned the total-wealth reporting dashboard for Private Wealth Systems. It is the most expensive studio on this list, with a Clutch minimum of $250,000. See UXDA's portfolio for its banking dashboards.
Specializes in: Banking, fintech and wealth-management UX.
Best for: Banks and late-stage fintech companies redesigning customer or advisor dashboards.
Starting budget: $250,000+, with hourly rates of $200 to $300.
Notable clients: HSBC, Emirates NBD, GCash, Private Wealth Systems.
Watch for: Finance only, design only, and a minimum that rules out almost every startup.

How much does SaaS dashboard design cost at Seed, Series A and Series B?

SaaS dashboard design cost depends more on funding stage than on the number of screens, because stage decides how much of the product will change after you sign. Clutch's UX pricing data puts the average UX agency project at $84,973 over about 10 months, or roughly $8,895 a month (Clutch, 2026). On this list, published floors run from $4,599 a month at Eleken and $7,000 at 925Studios to $100,000 at MetaLab and $250,000 at UXDA. A seed-stage team will rewrite its core view after the first fifty users, so it should buy fast iterations at a $7,000 to $10,000 floor rather than a fixed programme. A Series A team needs the dashboard, a design system and consistent data states, which usually means a scoped engagement in the $10,000 to $25,000 range or an ongoing retainer. Series B companies with multiple roles and large datasets can justify $25,000 to $100,000. Price the engagement as a share of your round before you open a single portfolio.
Seed
Shortlist: 925Studios, Eleken, Cieden.
Starting budget: $4,599 a month to $10,000.
Why: One core view and a few roles. You need someone who will cut, test and redesign every few days.
Series A
Shortlist: 925Studios, Parallel, Qubstudio.
Starting budget: $7,000 to $25,000, growing with scope.
Why: Paying customers, design debt, and the first AI features. The dashboard, design system and marketing site need to match.
Series B
Shortlist: Fuselab Creative, Neuron, HTEC Momentum.
Starting budget: $25,000+.
Why: Multiple roles, larger datasets, and permissions that change what each user sees.
Series C, enterprise and banking
Shortlist: MetaLab, UXDA.
Starting budget: $100,000 to $250,000+.
Why: Large programmes with a clear brief, regulatory weight, or a flagship rebuild.

How long does a SaaS dashboard redesign take?
A SaaS dashboard redesign takes three to six weeks for a single dashboard and eight to sixteen weeks or more for a suite that serves several roles, according to the planning ranges OneThing Design publishes. A UX audit of an existing dashboard can be done in two to five days. Those ranges assume the data is ready. In our experience, the thing that stretches a dashboard project is not design time but metric definitions: two teams using the same word for different numbers, or a KPI nobody owns. Settle those in the first week and the rest of the schedule holds. Leave them open and the design will be reworked every time someone spots a number that looks wrong. The review cadence matters too. A studio that shows work every two weeks turns each wrong turn into a two-week delay, while one that shares progress every day or two lets you correct course while the file is still open.
What should an AI analytics dashboard do differently?
An AI analytics dashboard has to answer questions, not only display numbers, and that changes the design problem. Gartner predicts that by 2027, 75% of new analytics content will be contextualized for intelligent applications through GenAI (Gartner, 2025). The products already doing this show the patterns. Amplitude's Ask Amplitude turns a typed question into a chart. Stripe's Sigma Assistant writes SQL from a natural-language prompt and turns the result into a chart. Mercury's Insights page, launched in March 2026, lets a founder ask "Why did my software spend spike this month?" next to burn and runway. Each of these needs design work a static dashboard never did: a state for an answer that is still streaming, a way to show how sure the system is, a visible link from the answer back to the underlying data, and an easy way for a person to correct or override it. Ask any agency you shortlist to show a shipped AI answer, and how they designed for a wrong one.
The patterns worth asking about by name:
Streaming and partial states. The answer arrives over seconds, so the layout must not jump and the user must know it is still working.
Confidence and sources. Show which rows, filters or date ranges produced the answer, as Stripe exposes the SQL behind a Sigma report.
Natural-language questions with guardrails. Suggested questions and examples teach people what the system can answer.
Human overrides. A clear way to edit, reject or pin an AI summary so the dashboard stays trustworthy.
Motion for data states. Short, purposeful transitions between loading, empty and updated states make change visible. The same motion work becomes the product demo video.
We cover these interface decisions in more depth in our AI product UX patterns guide, and in why AI products still need a designer. Yusuf also breaks down dashboard patterns on the 925Studios YouTube channel.
Our honest take: most teams add an AI chat box to a dashboard that was already cluttered, and the chat box becomes the place users go to escape it. If the AI answer is more useful than the default view, that is a signal to redesign the default view, not to add more AI.
What should you get at handoff from a dashboard design agency?
A dashboard design agency's handoff decides whether engineers build what was designed, so agree the deliverables before you sign. The screens are the least of it. A usable handoff includes a KPI dictionary that defines every metric, its formula, its source and its owner, so "active user" means the same thing on every chart. It includes chart specifications that state chart type, axis rules, number formatting, colour meaning and what happens at zero, one and ten thousand data points. It covers every data state: empty, loading, partial, error, stale and permission-restricted, because those are the states users actually hit on day one. It ships as components in a design system your engineers can extend, with tokens for colour and type that already exist in code. And it includes a short interaction spec for filters, drill-downs and date ranges. If a proposal lists only "high-fidelity screens," ask what happens when the data is empty.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to hire a SaaS dashboard design agency?
Published floors on this list run from $4,599 a month for an Eleken designer and $7,000 for a 925Studios engagement to $100,000 at MetaLab and $250,000 at UXDA. Clutch puts the average UX agency project at $84,973 over about 10 months. Most seed and Series A dashboard redesigns land between $7,000 and $25,000.
How long does a dashboard redesign take?
A single dashboard typically takes three to six weeks and a multi-role suite eight to sixteen weeks or more. An audit of an existing dashboard can take under a week. Unsettled metric definitions are the most common reason timelines slip.
Can one agency design the dashboard and the marketing site?
Yes, and it helps, because prospects see your product through screenshots and demos on the site before they log in. 925Studios, MetaLab and Parallel all cover both surfaces. Dashboard specialists such as Fuselab Creative, Qubstudio and UXDA focus on the product.
Should we redesign the dashboard before or after adding AI features?
Decide what the dashboard is for first, then add AI where a question is hard to answer from the default view. Adding an AI assistant to a cluttered dashboard usually hides the problem instead of fixing it. Many teams do both in one engagement, with the AI states designed into the new system.
What should we ask for in a dashboard design proposal?
Ask for the deliverables in writing: a KPI dictionary, chart specifications, all data states, design system components and an interaction spec. Ask who will lead the work and how often you will see progress. Ask what they would remove from your current dashboard.
Do dashboard design agencies also build the front end?
Some do. Fuselab Creative builds in Tableau, Power BI and D3.js, and MetaLab offers software development. Eleken, Parallel, Neuron, UXDA and 925Studios hand build-ready designs and components to your engineers.
Is a design subscription a good fit for dashboard work?
It can be, if you already have product direction and engineers, because a dedicated designer can iterate every sprint. Eleken's plans start at $4,599 a month with a two-month minimum. If you need someone to decide what the dashboard should do, a scoped engagement with discovery usually works better.
What makes 925Studios different from other SaaS dashboard design agencies?
925Studios designs the dashboard, its design system and the marketing site in one team, priced on active requests with a Loom walkthrough every 24 to 48 hours inside your own tools. MARA, a hospitality SaaS scaleup at $2M ARR across 1,500 hotels, uses the studio for its AI-assisted reporting workflows and dashboards. The honest limitation: 925Studios does not take on full product front-end engineering, so you need developers to ship the design.
The short version
Start by deciding what the dashboard is for. The agency that asks what to remove is worth more than the one that shows the prettiest charts.
Match the studio to your round. $7,000 to $10,000 floors suit seed teams, $25,000 specialists suit multi-role Series B products, and $100,000+ programmes suit later-stage rebuilds.
Treat AI answers as a design problem. Streaming states, sources and overrides need designing as carefully as any chart.
Write the handoff into the contract. Metric definitions and data states are what make the design survive engineering.
